So I was really excited that the NBA was going to be locked out this season; I think the players are greedy, and frankly I don't give a damn about basketball. Plus, people would have gone back to watching the NHL in between Sundays.
Then Atlanta (dis)Spirit Group decided to get rid of the Thrashers.
They sold out when there were reasonable bids to keep them in town; now they're out in Winnipeg, and I don't have a team to care about any more.
I hope the lockout goes on this season, because ASG's pet, the Hawks, won'tbe bringing them any money. Yes, its a bit vindictive in thinking, but they seem to have enough money anyway.
Long live the Thrashers (and every other dead hockey team)!
